The waiter was so nice to me. Gave me so many yummy options for drinks; Shirley temple, lemonade, pink lemonade, cranberry juice with a splash of sparkling water, he said it’s his favorite. They even had my dad’s favorite, Arnold Palmer. Of course, I had Shirley temple, since I never get that at home.
Food
I had a lot to choose from, even though, it is such a fancy restaurant.
Tuna tempura is so yummy. Don’t like soy sauce, so ate without it. Wasn’t dry at all. So good. I’m not allowed to eat raw fish yet, so my parents let me eat tempura.
For main course I had sliders, my dad helped me with them, the portion was huge. They were so so tasty. I love crab cakes, but at some restaurants they are very salty, spicy and mushy, but here they are just perfect. My mom asked the waiter to make sure they are not very spicy and they weren’t.
And since it was our staycation, I got myself the best desert ever, Turtle Pie. It was huge, I definitely needed help from my dad. My mom doesn’t like caramel at all, so only took one bite of it, my dad and I had the rest. Lucky me.
Overall
Love that place. Can’t wait to go back and order an other dessert and try their crab meat Nachos. A table next to us had it, it looked so so good.

Service
In addition to the most amazing food and service, this place is never a disappointment. The best part, OTH is one of a very few restaurants that takes reservations for their patio .
As always, Beth, the hostess and the whole wait staff were super attentive.
I love that even during such difficult times and much smaller capacity, neither the managers, or the wait staff try to serve you as fast as possible so they could turn tables faster.
Mike the manager, always walks around dining areas making sure that everything is satisfactory. Always is very courteous.
During these days, when the first thing when going out, social distancing comes to mind , the restaurant is doing impeccable job with it. Feels super safe to be there.
Food
My absolute favorite is tuna poke. It simply melts in your mouth. Definitely a must.
Mussels are incredible, cooked to perfection, larger than anywhere else and juicy. However, the oriental style sauce was a little bit on a salty side.
The Chilean skewers are to die for. OTH is one of the few restaurants in Pittsburgh that even serves Chilean seabass, my absolute favorite fish.
And, my another absolute favorite of all, is Trio of Tartar. Yum, yum, yum.
A small mention about their an amazing selection of wines. Sometimes, when my hubs and I go out, instead of ordering a bottle of wine, we rather get wine by the glass, this way we can try a variety of wine. I think OTH is the place, where you should, for sure, splurge on that.
Overall
I highly recommend going there. It is quite pricey, but it is an amazing experience.
They have two different menus, for bar and dining room.
Since I’m a foodie I prefer to try many smaller dishes so the bar menu and the dining room starters are ideal for me. The restaurant always exceeds my expectations.
It’s quite kid and adult friendly place. You can tell the staff really enjoys working there.
